Whether your vehicle has a cat or not depends on when the emissions regs came in, and how clean the engine is.
As mentioned, commercial vehicles were different from passenger cars. Some of the EFI diesels with high pressure commonrail injection and EGR managed to get their emissions clean enough that they met EURO III standards without much aftertreatment. |

If you have an MY03 onwards, they're EURO3 which are cat systems. If it's not there, it's been removed. Cheers Andrew
