Heater Matrix

My FL 1 heater has been weeping for the last 5 years but yesterday I found the the little green puddle in the passenger footwell so I guess it is time to replace it.

I assume it is a pain to get too - but are there any special little tricks for new players in replacing the heater core.

Cheers

Garry

No tricks to offer sorry but book time is 2.90hrs so that doesn't sound promising.

That is what I was afraid of. I have had the fan out before when it sucked up a shopping bag and at the time it looked as if the matrix was up behind the centre console which is a pain to pull apart.

Thanks

Garry

Heater Matrix? Did you?

G'day
My wife has an 2000 xedi 5 door with the L series diesel, it is also weeping a little bit of coolant from the heater core. (Making it fog up like a champ) Wondering if you have taken this job on yet and how it went as I am just looking in to it.
Any tips would be greatly received
Cheers
Lyle
