    Injector help

    Hi

I've been having issues with my rangie 3.9 and getting it to run on fuel. I got some cheap refurb injectors from the states and when I put them in they ran better but now just flood the engine. I swapped them for the older ones but still the same prob. Can anyone help or know a good mechanic near nsw/qld border who can help.

    Hey Dan,

I read the thread and seems like your tried everything. One other last resort could be to change the ECU just to eliminate a fault.

I can, at a time that suits, bring a spare ECU I have here and the roverguage software (laptop) to plug in and check the sensor reading and some ECU faults.
I also have a handfull of Bosch GenIII injectors here that I can leave with you in case you need to swap over any.

Let me know if your keen. Might be a waste of time but no harm in checking.
    I rule!!!

    2.4" of Pure FURY!!!

Cheers grimace. That would be great I did however swap out my distributer which I thought the cause was for it not turning over and when I turned the key she wanted to fire so if she starts I can get it going I can come to you one day and have a play. But if your keen to come here to my place either way I'm easy. I will let you know soon

So I know she will start on gas but she doesn't want to look at fuel when I switch it.
