Car crash in front of my house!

Just got a call from the wife....

A car has crashed into the tree on the footpath in front of our house....the car? A driving school car. The driver/instructor was on his mobile phone and took the corner wide, mounted the kerb and struck the tree head on.

Now, I live in a quiet surburban street....

The tree is only about 5 inches thick, but my wife says the Corolla is suffering from major front end damage and may have to get toe'd!!!

I won't mention the driving school company, but it is a bit of a concern when a driving instructor has a crash due to being distracted!.

Cheers
Andrew

Sounds like it's already had a kick in the nose!

We get driving school cars going past our place all day & when ever someone goes for there test they bring them past our place its easy to tell the RTA guys in ther bright vests.Well around 2 weeks ago someone was doing there test & came out the side street next to us,& the RTA tester guy is on the phone she pulls out in front of a bus,bus hits ankers the RTA guy just shrugs his shoulders & waves the girl on didnt hang up..So i will be staying very clear of that toyota rav 4...
