Roof rack stupidity

We all know that roof racks can only carry a limited weight so..

i was very surpiosed to see a LandCruiser (well, what else) with a full size quad bike up on the roof rack !

Not only would it be very heavy but how the heck would he get it up there and back down again?

Sorry no pics as I was driving at the time....

Anyone else seen bizarre stuff on roof racks ?

I've had a motorbike on mine but it was only to get him off Stockton Beach.

At least I am not the only one.
Again no pic but you will have to trust me.

Seen passing through Alice Springs.... A Pajero with roofrack equipped with 2 x 250 trail bikes 4 spares ( for the Paj) jack shovel + 2 swags.

It wallowed its way out of town.

Saw an old Valiant one day with a pair of Kmart roof bars with maybe 60/70 sheets of corrugated iron roofing Needless to say the rear bar and roof had collapsed under the weight, the guy driving hadn't noticed (or didn't care).
