Defender seat options?

Ok, so my seats are a bit tattie and need replacing...but what are the upgrade/replacement options apart from...:

Purdy and comfy, sute, but at close to $2k a seat, not an option for me...

Anyone got affordable and comfortable options?

Cheers

Try the Defender forum, I am sure this has been gone over before.

Exmoor Trim do a comprehensive range for Land Rovers. Or try your local motor trimmer.

I think it's just a suggestion that a little time spent with the "search" function will probably reveal all the possible answers to your question. IIRC John bought seat foam from Exmoor or similar and then recovered the seats over the rebuilt foam.

I downloader the exmoor catalogue and asked Roverparts for prices...still $1800 per seat.
I guess I was looking for some 'left of centre' options that people had found.
Cheers

Fair enough, sorry John. My wife complains about the comfort of the fender, and its the bus I hope to take us all camping/touring with soon, so was hoping there were other more comfy options that wouldn't blow my $5k shopping spree for just the seats

What has worn...just the upholstery?

If so spend some money on some canvas seat covers from B&B or Michelle's Sacks...use the search facility.

If the foam is buggered then Land Rover wreckers might be an option.

The arse part of the 2 front seats is pretty shagged. I have ordered exmoor foam and trim in original colour. Short term fix for a longer term wife comfort issue
