    Collectors - ABC1

For those who do not regularly watch Collectors on ABC1 (Friday 8pm), you may be interested that the snippet last night about next week's show indicates that one of the subjects next week will be Landrover models.

I'll program the iQ box now. It's on at 8pm Friday on ABC1 and 12pm (noon) on Saturday, again ABC1.

Japanese: Featuring a collector of Tolkien's books and memorabilia; a man hooked on anything with the Land Rover name; and an exquisite collection of Japanese dolls ranging from Cherry Blossom dolls to paper dolls
That could be any of us!

You should be able to watch from your computer via abc i-view after it has aired. They put Collectors on there for 2 weeks after the original airing time.
Not sure if this link will work
    ABC iview
    Just search for collectors.

Otherwise just go to abc.com.au and click on the iview icon and go from there

OK. A fellow like that has to be on this forum.
    Who is he?

Didn't get to see it much. Friends rang to tell me it was on.

Yeah, that's Peter from "All FourxFour" at Kotara in Newcastle. Was a bit disappointed at the short time they allowed for it, however the high point for me was the model of the LandRover centre steer. As Peter said it would be worth a bit. I collect models also (on a small scale) and I have never seen a model of the centre steer!!

After watching this, I guess we all must have one, two or (hundreds) of toy landies. Not sure if this has been posted before but how many have you got?

Well my missus seems to know that Iv`e gone at got that land rover bug. Called for me to watch that segment of the show. It was a impressive collection. That centre steer one would be the rarest. Also thought the time for the segment was a bit short. Mind you non land rover types probably thought the opposite. I`m also getting a collection happening, but I don`t think there is much value in used Land rover parts
