    Hi Guys
Stage 1 Landies and Rangies etc have a CV joint instead of uni joints,so perhaps the CV is larger and displaces more volume??????

    8) woops sorry about that 'bloody invalid sessions!!!!!!'
i got my satchets and after driving about 40k's jacked the disco up and let the old stuff run out, had dinner and went back out, dripping had stopped, so i put the drain and level plugs in, snipped the top off the satchet and squeezed the new stuff in. it was a breeze, almost no spill,'cept i got a bit bored and slipped, woops.
i did leave the satchets on the bonnet for a while to warm up, but i don't think it was necessary as almost all of the stuff can be squeezed out, and the satchet is clear so you can see whats in it as you go.
we will find out tomorrow if that makes any difference to the shimmy problem.
next step will be new steering damper [to replace the new one i just fitted three weeks ago]

    8) thanks pedro, i found your post too late, however i can report that new grease did nothing other than give me i nice feeling about having thr right stuff in it.
well this morning mr peddars gave me a nice big fat damper and that solved the problem, still got try it on the road that upsets it, but i think its gone, looks like mr munroe might get his one back.
