    I have seen this You tube clip a few times..it never ceases to amaze me how capable those old cars were off road..let alone how strong the chassis must be!

    A video like that would not be made for promoting the latest Pajero..let alone a 2wd Corolla!

    This is the Model T..one of my fav classic cars..Old Henery was a real Genius!!!

    the toughness comes from basic simplicity.

    they also didn't travel at speeds that we now expect to be able to do.

    a horse was much faster and according to an old stockman friend of mine , more comfortable.

    my old mate , Bobby , still prefers to get on a horse and sometimes is quicker on the horse than the stations landcruisers to get to certain places.
