    I used to do stuff like that in my youth in a 62 Ford Anglia. It lasted a year and a bit. Gave it to a mate who threw the tires away and welded spikes to the rims, then used it as a tractor.
    You don't really need a four wheel drive but it does make life a whole lot easier.
