    DRIVER OR DROVER

Any vehicle is only as good as the driver A driver with little experience will make even a Mog. look useless. A driver has to have confidence in his vehicle and the ability to quickly assess the obstacle in front and the way its to be tackled. My last 10 years in the Army was mainly involved in all aspects of Driver training
These film shots are staged for promotional / sale use there are many off road vehicles coming out of Europe these days that will match a Mog.

They were pretty good but the tyres used by the ADF did not provide good flotation in sand or soft conditions. As to speed...they were faster than our SIII's and like a hare compared to the "Inter's".

Noticed at 3:45 on the third video. They say something about the UniMog getting to a disaster area first but there's a Disco already there.
