Seem to get them every couple of months, lately.
Starts with an ache in the back, then peeing blood, then the labour pains and heavy breathing.
Next comes the ripping as they slice their way down, followed by more bleeding.
Fun times.
been there done that too
knocked out @ 9am came too at about 3pm from what i remember
i had one stone jammed in a valve and another larger one behind it, both removed via the old fella after slicing the valve
peaing blood all night and the pain was pretty dam intense

Hmmm, seems plenty of men have had them, it must be all the minerals that add into beer.
A lot of woman drink wine, maybe that's it.

Not really Mario. Went through the same process as Inc a couple of years ago and yes it's very painful, invasive and certainly knocks you about but the agony of the stones is far worse.
The pain from my stones resulted in a BP of 210 over something which was of more concern to the cas nurses than the stones. A bit of 'morphine magic' soon sorted that out. It was the most painful experience of my life. Seems that pain causes an increase in BP which is how the nurses can pick a junkie looking for a free hit from the real thing. You live and learn.

No never had that done. But today I passed my very first kidney stone. Had lots of pain in my lower left side back & front. Was peeing all day yesdy like a demon & felt like I had a blockage. Then today it passed. It's a bit bigger then 2 grains of rice I guess. Got more of a shock then anything else as I just thought it was muscular pain. I dug it outa the bowl not sure what it was. Keeping that sucker it's huge. 😀😀😀

Ah the glorious feeling as the Pethadine kicks in.Just before surgery my BP was >200. On groaning while taking my BP the nursed asked 'is there something wrong with you' and offered me a Panadol for the pain.
My wife and I agree that we can see what addicts see in heroin.

The last trip to CAS a few years ago I was put on a drip with morphine, when I was moaning due to the pain, they came an topped up the morphine. In the cubical next to mine was a young female druggie, I could hear her yelling to the nurses.
" every time the "old Man" yells you give him something, I'm in pain too!"
