Diff guards, money well spent and one of the first things I have fited to all my Rangies. For the sake of $100 or so it's well worth buying one.

I've got a Greaeme Cooper one, best one out there IMO. It's been on 3 out of 5 of my Rangies and it's stood up well over the years. I just buy a new clamp for it when they get bent to the ****house, the guard itself is solid as a rock

Don't have a rear one as yet.

I seem to recall Karcraft selling bolt on diff guards as well.

The beefiest ones I've seen are where you cut the whole front section of the diff off and replace it with a pipe end cap as used on large steel oil lines (as used on oil rigs and in refineries !). This is a popular mod on Pirate.

    I'll dig up a picture.

OK, there is an excellent thread on Pirate http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/showthread....ight=diff+guard
on how to replace the whole front diff cover (cut an re-weld) with a 3/8" thick steel pipe cap.
    Here's a couple pf photo's

    <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE</div><div class='quotemain'>8" - STD butt weld cap
ASTM A234 WPB (Forged Carbon Steel)
    ANSI B16.9

Available world wide. Any industrial pipe fitting supplier.

I have always had QT diff guards on my truck. Like them and fined them to be the best as they wrap around the diff. So don't fall off.
