Please be advised the terms and condition of access have been updated.

The new conditions are in bold.

1) NO PERSONAL ATTACKS ON ANYONE BY ANYONE WILL BE TOLERATED

2) NO SEXUAL HARRASMENT OF ANY TYPE WILL BE TOLERATED

3) IF YOU CANNOT BEHAVE WITH CIVILITY THEN THIS IS NOT THE PLACE FOR YOU.

4) NO SWEARING. IF THE FILTER PICKS IT UP THEN YOU KNOW IT'S INAPPROPRIATE FOR THIS FORUM. ANY attempt to get around the filter by spelling these words in another way will be seen as a deliberate attempt to circumvent the filter and be treated accordingly.

5a) YOU ARE PERMITTED 1 (ONE) LOGIN TO AULRO. MULTIPLE LOGINS CAN BE DETECTED BY THE SYSTEM SOFTWARE AND BREACHES WILL BE ACTED ON.

5b) IF YOU HAVE BEEN BANNED OR YOUR ACCESS REMOVED YOU ARE COMMITTING TRESSPASS ACCESSING THIS SITE UNDER ANOTHER LOGIN OR USING SOMEONE ELSES ACCOUNT. I RESERVE THE RIGHT TO TAKE ALL AVENUES AT MY DISCRETION TO REDRESS ANY ACTS OF TRESSPASS.

6) THE ADMINISTRATORS OF THIS SITE CAN NOT AND WILL NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ACTION OF THOSE WHO ACT OUTSIDE OF THE ACCESS GUIDELINES. BY ACCESSING THIS SITE YOU INDEMNIFY THE ADMINISTRATORS AND THOSE ACTING ON THEIR BEHALF.

The site survives on the good will of users who donate their time, money and other numerous resources and a few very welcome commercial advertisers.

Without ALL their support the place would not be what it is.

The system provides an area called Markets for people to advertise, for free, anything of interest to users.

There are also a Banner Advertising scheme.

THESE ARE THE ONLY PLACES WHERE YOU CAN ADVERTISE ANYTHING COMMERCIAL.

I will NOT TOLERATE abuse of the system by those wishing to take advantage of the userbase, without them contributing to the upkeep of the system.

NO COMMERCIAL ADVERTISING IS PERMITTED ANYWHERE OTHER THAN IN THE MARKETS OR THE BANNER ADVERTISING SERVICE ON THE SYSTEM.

THAT MEANS :-

NO COMMERCIAL ADVERTISING IS PERMITTED IN SIGNATURES.

NO COMMERCIAL ADVERTISING IS PERMITTED WITH IN MESSAGES in areas other than the MARKETS.

if you are in are in doubt, ask me or one of the moderators or admins for guidance.

Step over the line, you will recieve a warning, step over it again and you will have your access removed.

If you wish to push your own barrow, do it in the markets or use the banner adverts is the moral of the story...

here we go with the anti authoritarian rethoric again...

its been a long day for me so i apologise now if you think this reply is a little terse...

what part of "it is not a democracy" is it that you dont understand?

there are basic rules you must follow if you wish to use aulro, it aint rocket science, you follow those rules or we will edit your post and penalise you if you repeat the behaviour.

yes it sucks that we have to spend time wiping arses but some just cant seem to get their head around the fact that rude ignorant arrogant stupid hoonish juvenile threatening racist or intolerant behaviour just isnt acceptable here.

i dont give a flying fig how many wars you fought in or how big your bank balance is, IF, you dont follow the rules then you get roused on by one of the big bad nasty people that give their time to help out here....

if you think it is an evil empire, go build your own nirvana FFFS...

the bottom line is, if i keep the place "g" rated and free of that sort of drivel, i get advertisers who are happy to help defray the costs of running this place.

i tried the subscription game and un moderated areas and letting people have their heads... didn't work.. i ended up with bigger bills than i could pay..

i have just updated the Conditions of Access laid out in this thread to reflect the registration conditions which state you are allowed only 1 (one) login to aulro.

this has always been the rule but it wasnt stated above and i have just added it as i was just quizzed on it...

Admins and Moderators have the power to award demerit points.

There are buttons available in each thread to report any behaviour you consider inappropriate "considering the conditions of access". The reports are passed on to Moderators and Admins.

Please consider the conditions of access before reporting another user.

It is not something to be played with, inappropriate use of the reporting system will earn you points as well if it seems to be excessive.
