Craig - they arrived in Esperance yesterday! You might see them around town (I have no idea how big Esperance is - but maybe).

Spudboy,
When are they heading to WA? Will keep an eye out for them this weekend across the Nullabor. Was in Adelaide last week, quick trip as my dad was in hospital (2 day drive, 3 days there, 2 day drive back). Will be heading over again Sun or Mon as he has been scheduled for a bypass on Wed. Thought we had a 6 week wait, thats why we came home.
Keep an eye out for a Silver WK Statesman with WA plates. Will be over for a couple of weeks this time. Will be between Adelaide and Murray Bridge.

Spudboy,
Esperance is not that big, so a short drive around may find them. As I am heading off to Adelaide again this weekend, doubt wether I will catch them (on site at the momment).
Maybe you could PM Jamo to keep an eye out for them or for them to keep an eye out for Jamo. Would have loved to show them some of Esperance.
One good thing about having to go to Adelaide. I will be there for the Clipsal 500.

Are you driving over again? That's a hell of a lot of KMs in a short time.
Hope you have got a corporate box for the Clipsal. I went a few years ago in the general admission area and was appalled at all the drunkeness and yobs in there. Not a great place for kids (I thought - anyway). Went another year with a corporate invitation and that was a LOT better! Good race though, unless it is 40 degrees when it is stinkin hot and everyone gets sunburnt.
Hope you catch up with them - they are v interesting to chat to.
One of my uncles had a trip over there at that time. He complained bitterly about the poor accomodation, the food, and the dearth of liquor provided by their British hosts. He said the Germans and Italians they met at Bardia and Tobruk and some other Med. resort towns seemed to have endless supplies of beer, wine, spirits and cigars which they seemed eager to share with their new found Australian friends. Watches and binoculars, gramophones, etc. were popular souvenirs too, he said.
