I think they might have come to our LROC meeting in Brisbane in January.
We met these Dutch people, Norbert and Ruth, driving through Adelaide last weekend. Saw their Landie with the URL on the side and got in touch with them via their guestbook web page.
They ended up staying for a couple of nights at our place and we drank quite a lot of beer and wine (supplied by them - in exchange for hot shower/bed!) and chatted late into the night.
They have had a lot of adventures driving from Holland to Australia via Turkey/Iran/Pakistan/India.
They are heading across from SA to WA at the moment, so if you see them stop and say hello. The website for contacting them is http://www.expeditie-walkabout.nl (use the guestbook).

Reckon it probably was, as they had their car shipped from India to Brisbane. They had lots of neat things done for their expedition like this (mostly) concealed deadlock for the doors:
Much better than the standard Defender door locks. Surprisingly, they didn't have airconditioning fitted which must have made for some stinking hot driving through Iran/Pakistan.
I just checked back and no it wasn't the same couple, it was a German couple doing exactly the same thing.
Must be gaining popularity in Europe !

No - I don't think they have an AULRO login. They would be very pleased to have people make contact, so I think the easiest method is via the guestbook page on their website here: http://www.expeditie-walkabout.nl/in...book&Itemid=61
I just took a look at the guestbook page to get the address, and they already have one invitation from Stuart and Amy in WA (from Karratha I think). Is that someone on here?
That would be the wife and I, Geraldton's only 440 ks north of perth and a good place for repairs/restocking before going further north.
Thought they might like to drive out to Walga rock and see the rock art/dutch ship painting.Just waiting on their reply.
