Far out!

I've just fitted a new heater core in the Rangie - a major job - and the new core bought from Land Rover leaks worse than the old one.

And, no, it's not the O-rings.

See P38A Heater Core Replacement

What is it with you Ron, you work with the most exotic of equipment but with something personal its either broken , breaks, or has some temporary defect!
Are the the one in 10 billionth person who is selected as the random quality control?

very strange.

Perhaps you should write a book
I am sure that you have enough ill fortune to fill it and who knows, the proceeds might ease your pain, or allow you to use a 'buying agent'

It could be titled - You Meet The Nicest Folk in the Return Queue, or 'Me....Sh1t Stuff Magnet'

Cheers

Ralph

It would appear so, Johjn. Wanna see me involved with weapons?

My last job was involved with submarine cable repair ships and patrol boats:

Would you go to sea with me?

Forward. Those are the bow sheaves. They have sheaves at the bow and stern for running out/retrieving the cable.

oops, no one else has seen it!!
as the song goes, 'never let a chance go by' the spelling is john not johjn.

And yes mate i would trust you implicitly with your skills in your area of expertise.
But would hesitate at buying a job lot with you.

Not being a nautical man, but inquisitive, it would be an interesting operation to see.
