mate that is very impressive, i knew you were up there with the best, but a no2 listing.

Back to your problem, I can't believe there is a hole in it ,in that exact spot hidden under the foam, looks as if it has been *****ed by a nail.
Its not possible!!!!
at least you'll be an expert in dash board removals at the end of it all.

john

gee i was too fast for myself, got another one,

Here's my new heater core, the hole was hidden under the foam:

Don't worry too much Ron, your not alone in your junk buying.

I have owned a troopy for 12 years, everything was ok till last year, I dropped a tierod up in the vic high country and decided to replace all the tierod ends just incase the others go. Now it has a god awful shudder/wheel wobble between 50-60kmh and no one has any idea what is causing it.

I have a buggered spine, so I finally gave in to the doctor's orders to give away the troopy and I bought a Rangie, 89 model, 3.5 injected. Pulled up at the sellers house, he started it and drove it onto the trailer, I got home and drove it off the trailer, it started real easy.

Next morning it would not start!

Three weeks later and it is still not running, I've fitted a new fuel pump, it has plenty of spark at the plugs, fuel at the fuel rail, compression, but no go?!?

It is currently at the auto elec to see if he can find a problem with the ecu/injection or something else.

It's nice to sit in, but I can't tell you what it's like to drive.

Neale

That's a bugger, Neale, especially after the reliability of the Troopie! Not the best intro to Land Rovers.

Did you call the seller just in case he can shed some light on it?

Had you not replaced the fuel pump, I'd say check the fuel pressure at the rail. It should be about 35 psi,

Did you try a squirt of fuel into the intake?

Cancel the order. I'll solder up the hole!
