Friday the 13th looms, Ron,

time to find a shaman and exorcise the demons of unreliability!

I think you may be out of phase, walk under a ladder backwards, break some mirrors, chase a black cat (and get it to walk under the ladder with you)... go to a church (with the cat), wear some garlic, (hey whynot, get rid of some vampires too!)

Go to a tarot card reader and re arrange the deck!

Get a crystal ball and zap it with a cut crystal, at high noon on 13/04/07.

Have dinner at a Chinese restaurant (operated by Chinamen) and compliment the chef and the owner and the waitress.

I'm sure the others will be as equally helpful!

GQ Good luck!

Best get someone to handcuff you to your bed for the day. Eerrrr, hang on. You might be partial to that.

I know I know. When unlocking time came, the key would break in the lock.

Have the same problem. Buy something new and get nothing but trouble. Rebuilt the power supply on digital set top box twice, although still in warranty lost receipt, dad bought same model same day, always keeps his receipts, lost it this one time. Rebuilt his power supply too. Same with cars. Spend nothing on it and it will go forever, as soon as I spend money I get trouble.

On the other hand, I'm uncanny when it comes to pick up junk off the street. Ninety percent of the time it's all good, and works and no worries. This week a $1500 gas heater works fine, resell it for $700. Go figure.

Cheers
Simon

If you see a HP4L printer, I need one.

We had a power outage last week and when it came back on, my 4L had died. That's not so bad as I've had it for about 12 years.

The problem is that it has a new toner cartridge in it. Now I need to buy a new toner cartridge for my HP4M Plus network printer.

Oh dear, talk about bad luck, after this thread, the name Ron Bxxxxx will be on everyones lips, when something breaks,
I have known of people who claimed they were cursed, hexed and purveyors of anything bad that could happen.
But never heard of anyone who is that bad their own other half won't even buy anything they have touched.

Hmm, didn't you want a replacement wife for the Ghan trip, perhaps after this, the wise will have second thoughts.

You must have crossed paths with a very powerful shaman in a past life, cursing you to eternity.

Perhaps it is time to go out with a handful of charms on a moonlit night and bay at the moon whilst turning 4 times counter clockwise, making sure you are naked with a three day growth of beard, whilst standing in a prominent location. Read that somewhere as a curse remover.

best of luck.

Power outage killed the DVD player while we were away at easter, I was blaming the kids all day on monday for leaving the slider thingy out that the disc sits on but you push it in and it stays in for about 2 mins then spits it back out again.

2 DVD players in 3 years, I must be catching it from you Ron...
