    Holiday Fun

Just back from 4 great days at Moore Park,,
little bit windy and wet at first but turned out beautiful.
Was our first trip away with the camper and apart from a small problem with the brake controller(doesnt work--) and "someone" forgetting to fill the water tank everything worked fine, no leaks(and THAT was tested on-road and set-up in camp)
tows fine, plenty of room and kitchen/stove works a treat.

Must have been a good site as we had visitors,,
    3 of them,,
    wearing large sombreros,,

and they stayed, in fact they came home with us,,

which leads me to the moral of the story--

WHEN the trailer brakes arent working-
WHEN the ABS/HDC/TC lights are on-
WHEN you're driving with a left ankle so swollen you cant walk on it-

THIS is when the idiot brakes in front of the B-Double you are following down the highway.

and let me tell you when a B_Double locks up everything the smoke is something to behold,

so the trucks all crossed up and locked up, and Pedro hits the brake pedal VERY hard,,,
and thats when things start to happen--

BUB002 starts to slide ever slightly across the double lines, theres enough time(why do these things seem to last forever?) for me to think hmm,,
    at least one wheel locked,,
    maybe two?
    oh yea--
    THE 3 AMIGOES!!!

We must'nt forget the 1200kgs of unbraked trailer pushing from behind---

It all ended happily,, if a trifle undignified.
must have been some MONSTER black marks left.

    Guiness didnt even wake up---

I've read several posts with mention of this new camper trailer now but I can't find any pics. Am I missing something ? ... or perhaps it didn't happen

Pleased to hear you had an exciting first outing. We've used our camper twice now. 4 days at Bigriggen (test run) then 6 days at 1770. Only excitement for us was an unexpected stop-over at Childers due to a blocked radiator in the Disco.
