    Message from Russian VSE4X4 club

    Hello!
    I'm Alexander. I'm from Russia S-Petersburg. I'm member of off-road club
VSE4X4 and owner of Pazhan car (it is LR Defender assembled in Iran) 2.5 L engene petrol. There are a lot of exciting off-road competitions in our club for example "Paganie bolota". If you want, you can see photo report from it in my forum.

There is in russian language but a lots of photos from typical Russian off-road party.
It will be very good that australian owners of Land Rover tell us about their cars and off-road adventuries. For it I make on my forum English-speaking section yet there is no one message but I hope they will appears there

OK Apparently this is the translation...

Having developed and having gathered already to go to the house to us for the first time has not carried this day on large, during descent from a hill, to us has cleaned бочину Мицубиси Л-200 JAFARа. Certainly very much it was not pleasant, in fact the car very rare and to buy from us on it iron not really, but I wish to tell at once, that this unpleasant incident does not throw a shadow on organizers of departure, to the contrary they have rendered us all help. And Jafar promised us a jeep to repair......... We shall look......

That Shorty is an interesting mix of the parts bin,Defender nose roof and screen, wind up windows,Series body.Almost certainly leaf sprung given the narrow track.

    Alexander welcome

Great to see Russian 4x4 enthusiasts. I have done some off road in Siberia in the 90,s whilst working in ''Surgut'' and had a great time trying to explain things with no interpretor. Have also spent some time in ''Krasnodar'' down near the Black sea.

Could you put in an english section for your forum sign in as my cyralic is a bit rusty.

Use this the AltaVista Babelfish and select Russian to English - it is somewhat basic direct (word for word) translation and often the syntax/context is lost but it will give you an idea.

(I can't read it at the moment as my work filters translation sites).

    Cheers
    Diana

    P.S. Welcome Alexander!

You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.

At the moment I am blocked from the whole site - I just thought that some people may not be aware of the BableFish translation sites!
