D3 Finally arrived...

Well, after a long long wait which is a long long story, I will get my D3 next Friday. It arrived in Melbourne off the boat this week and I cant wait to pick it up....but I can wait for the diesel price to come down a bit!!

Anyway, its a TDV6SE in stornoway with black leather. Condition was wife wanted sunroof so it has the rear AC as well.

Here is a pick of it wrapped up....I will have some nice pics next week but thought I would share my excitement!!

Plans for the next 6 months will be to get snorkel, snow chains and some all terrain tyres...I need to do some research on what tyres work best that dont stuff up the suspension, alignment and driveability so will probably dig in to that soon...

Pics here...

I'd love a TDV6 D3, in silver.
But I'd have to keep the fenda because I couldn't possibly do to a disco what I do to the fenda.
Oh well, I'll keep dreaming and congrats. Hope you enjoy it.

You'll love it. The hardest part is waiting the next 7 days. I know what it is like after waiting for 5 months for my D3 then seeing it all wrapped up at the dealers - just wanted to get in it and drive it.

Make sure you visit the forum page for D3s found on this forum and also look around the forum for D3 owners www.disco3.co.uk with all the information you ever needed to know about the D3 plus more.
