    Show us ya...................Models.....

Not those ones ya pervert, the LANDROVER ones (no ladies, they are not toys!!!!)

To get the ball rolling, here are some of mine

My first from the early 70's, a wee bit worse for wear

Got this one a bit later, so a bit less damage

    Burago,1/47th scale

"Speedy power" brand, 1/32 scale Disco and horse float

The Disco has that "big wheel" look

Plastic kit approx 1/47th scale (I was young, dont look too close!)

Lanard toys, pull cord powered, 2 wheel drive approx 1/25th scale

New Ray 1/32nd scale, friction powered, 4WD

New Ray 90 and float, 1/32nd scale, no drive

    Without float

    Britain's, approx 1/32nd scale

    Also Britain's, same scale

This bit you won't believe, I bought this before I knew what Camel Trophy was! yes, It was a Camel Rangie, I stripped and re-sprayed it 'cause I didn't like the colour, what a dumbass!!!! Now I want a Camel one.

    Now lots of wee ones

Now the bigger stuff, unbranded radio controled, approx 1/20th scale

    Burago 1/24th scale Freelander

Burago 1/26th scale landrover experience P38A, do the wheels look familiar? bloody british leyland parts bin

Universal Hobbies 1/18 scale 90, these are the best made models I have seen

    Road legends 1/24th scale Rangie

Motor max 1/18th scale series 2 Disco, good but not as good as Universal Hobbies

My all time favourite (will be comming in the coffin with me) Universal Hobbies 1/18th scale Defender 110

And the best toy is this one, from banatoys.com 1/18th scale, bump'n'go, flashing lights, power opening doors and a real rattley sounding diesel noise, with air horns!

    To see it in action:

After I bought my 1:1 Deefer I came to realise that I had been inadvertantly collecting them since I was a kid, I haven't got that many but I do have some different ones. I'll have to try and find them, they're still in a box from when we mooved in 2004. I'll se if I can post them shortly. There is one I'm doing as a project at the moment, 1/8th 90 r/c. I've got plenty of pics of it so I'll post soon.

Wow, I had no idea you could buy so many "Model Land Rovers".

I have a collection of 1/24 to 1/6 models, plastic and metal, but they are cars. Around 55 of them.

Maaaaaate, it would cost more than a real one to buy half of these:

Bet no-one else has one like this handmade by a black african tribesman supplementing a no doubt meagre income
It's great to know you have something no one else has and to know you probably fed the guy and his family for a week

The short wheelbase in the centre of the next pic is a corgi Falklands War edition

The next shows a larger Brittans military Land Rover, windscreen broken off and an orange shorty that looks like it was found under a tree in a farmers paddock. Made by Dinky toys

The next shows a 1/18 disco and the 1/8 deefer project

These ar nice models of my two favourite cars of all time, sorry not LR

This is my D90 RC project. I am scratch building it and trying to get it mechanically close to the real thing but I am having to make some concessions.

This is the wooden prototype chassis with some nice expensive hardware
