Waeco/Engel in WA or online

Hi Guys
looking into getting a fridge, either 80 or 110lt.Any tips on the cheapest place to get them in WA,or online.
Swaying towards a Waeco, thinking the Engel will be too dear.
Thanks

Google Waeco, they're on the Gold Coast but will ship to an address (not PO box) good deals on 2nd s & superceded stock too. Good luck

HI Andy, when I got my national Luna there was a mob online called olibis or Olbis or something like that. I am pretty sure they mail out but I imagine that then hops the price up a fair whack.

I have never found a place which was all that much cheaper then another though. They all seem to be very similar in my searches.

If you go the Waeco like I did (60l) then get the bag/cover - exceptionally well insulated.

Hi Andy - I will be buying a 60L Engel or similar soon. If you end up going engel, we should see if someone will give us a cheap deal on 2.

Anaconda have specials from time-time apparently.

Hi Chris
Have used 40lts,way too small for our needs, plus we require a combination fridge/freezer.60 or 80 possibly would suit us the best,110 I must admit is overkill. But I would hate to have to leave that 1 last Barra behind on a Derby expedition I want to do in the next couple of years
Ben we have a contact on here for both breeds, but he probably cant beat camping chain store specials. Will let you know who on saturday.

I only bought a little 40-something litre Engel, have to say I preferred the build quality but that's a personal thing.
I too got mine from Anaconda in one of their sales and and it was about $200 cheaper than a 4WD specialist who said "can't beat that, I'd get it from them..." Just not sure what the largest size they carry is.
If you have an inside tip then yeah, that would probably be best.
Cheers
Mike

We were looking around just before christmas for a fridge/freezer. We ended up with the 80 litre Waeco. The cheapest place we found was BCF, this was compareable with buying online and then having to pay shipping. I can't remember the exact price but I think it was around the $1200 mark??

I believe Engel have a promotion on at the moment. If you buy a fridge they throw in a heap of promotional gear.

I know someone this week that bought a 21ltr Engel and got the following.

Umbrella, stubby holder, cap, those food containers, a thermo heater cooler thing. There maybe more I can't remember.

Also have a look at the Waeco site, I think they have a shop that sells seconds.
Oops I think that is what Ian Again said.
