Autotrimmers and Vacuum hoses

So my driving seat had collapsed one Friday on a 40*c day after work so I swapped the passenger seat around, and the next week took it in to Motor Trimmers Perth WA, Custom Car Interiors Perth, Marine Upholstery, Interior Boating & Canopies Repairs, Showcar Custom Interiors Perth, Car Interior Restorations Western Australia - First Class Motor Trimmers he has repaired my roof and seat for $370 the roof was $300 for new material.
After all that, I took it around to my mechanic friend who has rebuild the engine 3 years ago, and he had a tinker with the timing and vacuum hoses. 
I have heard it ping at about 4500rpm on load, but jeeez it has made the difference to power on takeoff.
