Air bag/spring and anti sway/roll bars
G'day all,
Need some tips on heavy duty suspension as I mentioned above my camper is all over the place steering is poor and it has a lot of side to side sway. It is not fitted with a front anti sway bar and the rear bar is the same as a standard 110 seems a bit thin to me so I was wondering if I installed air bags fitted inside the rear coils would it be enough. It has no weight to it yet as the interior is just an empty shell. But that will change when it's built and loaded with our gear. also I'm going to swap the V8 for a 4bd1-t Isuzu so the front end will be really heavy as well. Any good ideas. Regards Justin |

Sorry can't help with the GVM, it should be on the Compliance plates, I would also be increasing the wheel track with offset rims or spacers, Regards Frank.

I'll have a look for the plate, But with army trucks thing seem to go missing. The plates on the british army trucks here are on the seat box and the brake booster housing. I've had a few army rovers that had both seat box and booster swaped with those from other rovers so the only way I could tell what the real serial number should be is by looking at the Chassis in the front wheel well. I like the idea of spacers what would be best aluminum or steel. and would 30mm be enough. Regards, Justin |
