I just bought a Bloodbox! Introducing "Ambrose", 113-896.

I know this should be in REMLR - but I want to tell everybody!

As many of you know, I have always been very keen on a bloodbox. I wasn't planning on buying one so soon but Ambrose came up and I got carried away...

I'm very happy with him and should be picking him up very soon!

I must give a big thankyou to Richard (Phoenix) who was a fabulous source of help and knowledge, as well as moral support when I thought I was going to miss out.

A big thankyou also to the seller, Leonie (who has joined us here on AULRO in recent days) for her helpful manner, and for answering my millions of questions. Ambrose is a special vehicle to you, and I will take very good care of him, likely for the rest of my existence.

This is but a snapshot of how many emails went between Richard and I!

Anyway - enough of my talking. PICS:

Congatulations Shonky,

You may or may not need that depending on your swmbo's attitude towards landies

Have fun tripping around in her.

Does this mean Gus is going to be put on hold?

Well done.

See I'm spreading the good stuff around

Thanks mate!

She is okay with it (now)... after she got over the initial "what?! you're buying ANOTHER one!" she even offered to chip in! She has now adopted the stance of "I don't understand but if it is what you want..." I'm a lucky man x2.

Gus is still going at half steam ahead! I won't be slowing down on him at all! I am going to do them both concurrently - once my bank account recovers... I had to borrow some money off mum, and she's pretty hard up at the moment (farmer) so I will have to pay her share off quicksmart before I can start to recover my own poverty.

I guess I'm lucky too, but still not as lucky as you!

Thanks Josh. I know there was one buyer up your way that was keen. My heart goes out to him - I would have been heartbroken if I missed out.

Well done Mr Shonky! What's you plans?
Good work on conditioning SWMBO - after 2 they loose count!!!

Word of caution from one who knows, you are showing the advanced symptons of Landroholic Syndrome.
Repeat after me: "Hello, My name is Andrew , and it is 2 days since I have bought a Land Rover"

Thanks Paulie!

It's running, registered and not falling apart at the seams so I am probably just going to enjoy driving it and slowly work thrugh it!

My SWMBO didn't take much conditioning. She knows that the Landies are a package deal with me! Shes a great gal.

How dare you imply that I have a problem?! I don't know what your on about? I'm handling it okay... I just enjoy a landrover or two after work - it's no biggy. I'm fine ok?

Lol! No, it will be a "Fusion" of skill and patience.

I would sell body parts before I let this go, but I will keep you in mind anyway.
