I remember seeing one with a very similar title when it first came out - long time ago but I'm sure that the title was not quite the same. But the picture of the trailer looks familiar.

Couldn't have been that one though - different stars.

    Agreed.

    This must be the sequel.

Speaking of old movies, did anyone else catch “Their a weird mob” on PayTV over the weekend.

Talk about old Landies and the movie was made in 66, so that must make them some of the first Landies brought into Australia?

Not really - Australia was a major market for Landrovers from about 1950, with thousands being used by government agencies such as National Development, Post Master General, Civil Aviation, State Geological Surveys as well as farmers, exploration companies and organisations such as Snowy Mountains HEA. Most of these organisations probably only kept them for five years or so (in the early sixties I bought two ex SMA Landrovers that were six and five years old when I bought them) so by 1966 there were a lot of Landrovers about that had been through a couple of owners but were "only" ten years old, which would hardly have been "some of the first". By 1966 I had bought three second hand Landrovers, the oldest of which was made eight years after the first ones in Australia.
