automatic tds2 99/00 mod

l have a series 2 disco and l just noticed a lite( vibration rattle ) when l take off from standing still it happens between 40 and 60 km and she goes after that its not a very heavy rattle she,s going in for a auto oil and eng oil change tomorrow..
has anyone come across this before ???

the double cardon joint at the transfer case end of the front shaft will be the culprit get it sused and ASAP they can do lots of damage if they break at speed

That is also typical of the rear rotoflex coupling in the tailshaft. They vibrate under heavy load (eg 1st gear) when the bolts contact, and at around 70km/h from going out of balance.

These are around $120 for the part. Easy to swap out.
