I think it is you who should be wished luck!
Hi,
For 5 years now I have had the MY2003 and enjoyed it immensely. I have also had the pleasure of communicating with some great people on this forum, but the time has come.
I bought a brand new 2008 CRD Patrol last September with 6 years 150,000 klms warranty and now I have traded the Disco and GQ in on a new 2008 D22 2.5 CRD 4X4 Navarra twin cab ute to keep it company.
I am still in shock about the trade-in price for Disco's as a 19 year old GQ scored 25% for a trade-in value for what I received for a 2003 TD5.
Sorry guys and Girls but I am now, a pure CRD Nissan camp, especially since there is now a dealer in Karratha.
All the best, it's been great but could not see myself with a TaTa LR.
BradM
I think it is you who should be wished luck!
Good luck and best wishes with it, they'll treat you well.
Cheers
Slunnie

Good luck Brad I don't blame you its hard to run a modern Land Rover in this environment with the total absence of Competent and Familiar Mechanics
Crossed over to the dark side he has.
Good luck with it mate

good luck.....drop in from time to time
I've done the same thing Brad but gone the Tojo way after having a 300Tdi Disco, Td5 and 300Tdi Defenders. Son has done it big time with an LC 200 after a couple of Rangies.
So as soon as the 110 has gone (when I get round to advertising it that is) it'll be goodbye from me as well.
No backup in the bush from LRA so no more vehicles from them for this lot.
I know they recover you during warranty (I've experienced that) but what good is it if the things have to be shipped to Perth for fixing?
Good luck with the Nissans Brad, there's plenty on the roads so they can't all be suffering from holes in pistons.
And there's members of LROCWA with them and have had good runs.
Cheers to all and have a good safe New Year.
Alan.
I have been thinking about trading in my Landies and getting a H2, the way I see it they look like a penis on the road so they perform well in the bush.
