    Painting the Series ute.

Ok folks I need some help here... well, at least some opinion. My lady friends tell me I have appalling colour sense and that may very well be the case. I tend to disagree with them though and don't think I have much at all.

Anyway, back to the opinion..... I'm about to get out my favourite Bunning roller and show no mercy to my old Landy ute. The roof will go Rustgard white again, most of the body will go Rustgard blue again too... you may have noticed that Rustgard make my favourite range of colours, although British paints have some good stuff too. For the bonnet and grill I'm in two minds (yes yes yes we dont have schitzaphrenia) about whether to paint them Rustgard white like the roof and perhaps give the old girl a slight hint of taxi, or to run with the Rustgard blue. There will be a black ARB Defender bullbar on the front of it.

Thoughts? She gets the roller tomorrow!

    Cheers

I think the Blue and white would look great Melbourne Taxis are yellow so I haven't been conditioned into hating blue and white (Glad you're not painting it yellow though!)

I voted for the white bits mate . breaks up the paint work and shows off the shape better . If it was all blue it would all disappear .... would be to much

oh and to follow on from my suggestion make the top of your grill blue too but leave the sides and bottom white so the line from the bonnet follows on down the front

    G'day Slunnie

Go modern, use the Dullbird paint scheme but replace the blue with PINK, like the Mcgrath pink, you will be making a big statement and the Ladies will love you for it

saw one in Sydney 30+ years ago and it didn't look too bad, keep the white roof

    cheers

    Pink UncleHo!

It's not meant to be subtle or anything and pink would certainly be an attention grabbing colour, but I'd probably get beaten up.

I've really been liking the suggestions and some of them have really got me thinking.
    Cheers
