Those who are bit more ambitious are being discriminated against, too - those who actually want to become gods themselves! The ancient Greek philosopher, Empidocles (490–430 BC) reckoned he had made it, and to prove the point he decided to jump into the mouth of the active volcano Mt Etna. This act was immortalised in the rhyme:
Great Empidocles that ardent soul,
leapt into Etna and was roasted whole.
Source: Bertrand Russell, History of Western Philosophy.

The later Roman emperors too thought they were gods, and persecuted any who wouldn't worship them. They now are just as dead as Empidocles.

But if you're feeling ripped off because you didn't get a mention on the chart, you might find some comfort in knowing that we are all created in God's image. Which is pretty impressive!

I agree ...it should have "do you love Pasta" after the "No" for "Are you rich and insane" and then "FSM" if you answer yes, otherwise "Atheist".

Although I think the description of the actual religion is "Pastafarianism" ...at least that's what I wrote on the census form.

Cheers

Pity the Roman Catholic church and the Eastern orthodox Church killed all the Cathar's then we would have the real Christian teachings.

Well - I went pretty quickly straight to Atheist! But I'm glad I got the 2nd question right - other wise I would be a Scientologist, and that is a bit too close to home!

A religion is a set of rules or principles to live your life by so in my opinion a religion should be chosen by the value of said rules and principles and how close its teachings are to Jesus teachings. He was by far the most perfect example of how humans should treat each other and live their life in a way that will not just benefit yourself but those around you. If you don't know much about Jesus teachings, better do some study. Probs one of the best things you could do with your time.

To many "religions" organizations are far to worried about the money, how much gold is hanging on the walls and also teaching what the people want, not what they actually need.

If everyone followed Jesus example and teachings and applied them in their lives, the Earth would for sure would be free from crime, violence, racial hatred and wars to name a few. It would be much closer to how it was supposed to be.
