I've sold the D3 and strayed...

Well, the D3 has just gone off with her new family. They are driving her back to NSW so if you see a white D3 with front and rear bars two wheels on the back and four more on the roof rack, then stop and say hello. they're really nice people!

I was going to get a D4, but then I got distracted..

I've ordered a 2010 Cayenne Diesel. It's due for delivery in March. Optioned air suspension, off road pack and nav amongst other things.

Hopefully i'll still be welcome around here

Now that you don't have a Land Rover anymore best you go buy a Series 1 or an old Disco or a Stage 1 v8 or an Isuzu 110 just so that you have something to play with.

Tote

Nice choice.

I had a look at one earlier in the year, with vague thoughts about chopping the L322 for one. They are a LOT smaller than the Rangie though.

When they first came out, I thought they were the ugliest car I had ever seen, but strangely they have grown on me over the years (or they have subtly changed the look).

For me, if it was going to be a Porsche, it'd have to be a 911 every time I've had a couple, and they've been fabulous vehicles. Surprisingly cheap to run, apart from the insurance.

My boss just sold his.

In owners manual you may find "Not to be used Off-Road".

Nice car to drive, I will admit and my Heli Pilot mate has the twin Turbo model but really, why?
The diesel I can understand more but over a Landy with real off-road Cred!

May I suggest a Panadol and some time to reflect!

Nice car all the same though, very quiet and and everything works everytime- something u will have to get used to.
