The Temple of Grockle

Hi People.
I see after the dimise of the Skullers the "chat" seems to have shifted to the "Stars" thread.
Started this thread so we can all chat nonsense and sense if your that way inclined with our overseas ambasador Grockle.
Please abide by AULRO etiquette and rules.
Cheers
Andrew

well, Barabara Anne Etiquette (RN) Rtd.to give her her full Name, was born in Wigan,Lancashire, the first daughter to mill workers Doris and Stanley Etiquette, educated by the coalman in there coal house once he'd finished his round, taught her stacking and filling the sacks full(nutty slack and dust at the bottom),kicking the tailboard shut with one push and finally on her fourth birthday to drive the lorry(a Thorneycroft Trusty) EED 587.

Following the outbreak of WW2 she volunteered for the Royal Navy as a stowker(from her coal delivery knowledge)still only aged 9 lying about her age telling the billiting officer she was 12,was awarded a medel in late 1943 for catching a torpedo that had entered one of the coal bunkers fired from a German sub(U112)and putting it under her blanket thus saving her ship the SS Ho Har,boarding up the hole in the hull with dried egg powder boxes, the following morning giving the torpedo to the gunnery Mid shipman for his collection.
