Suggest you make the phone call as you have the number. I know you should not have to however it could be a simple problem like being embarrised about being so slow to return it. Your contact in a helpful polite way could then break the impass. Also until you make the call you do not know what has actually happened. If they then dodge you well that says it all really.
Some time ago I had someone I lent a manual to who then dissapeared and did not reply to any e-mails. Was almost a year later after I had given it up as one of those bad experiences that I found out had died in a car crash days after I sent the manual. Who feels really bad then about what they had said to people. |

I to have had help from members on here and they have been great!!! One in particular is a part for my d1. He was kind enough to send it down and I told him I'll fix him up as soon as I can. Now honestly it's been a while now and with other things going on around me I couldn't afford to fix him up but I told him of my situation and he said when ever I can pay him to do so which I am truly greatful for. Thing is there is not a day that goes by where I'm not thinking about paying him. Every week I'm trying to work out way to budget and send the money but can't do it. I keep in touch with him to let him know what's going on though. Sorry to hear about your story but majority of the members on here a bloody fantastic and very helpful and that's what makes this site very popular and great. Be persistant and keep trying cause you never know ones situation.
Good luck

Pete
You have my total sympathy I have done parts runs from one side of town to the other, road side repairs, Towing as well as the phone diagnostics. My mobile number seems to be freely given about in and around Adelaide. Have called in favors and have been embarrassed as a result. 4 of then since Xmas are posters on here I didn’t even get a thank you, let alone a cupper Don’t do it, all it will achieve is you losing your time and depleting your parts stocks |

I'm of the opinion you do what you can when you can - unfortunately it sometimes there are always a few rotten apples that spoil the cider. I suppose that's life and human nature. What can you do - keep doing what you think is the right thing, be beyond reproach and be true to yourself. Often, things catch up with those who don't.

Hi guys,
I can totally sympathize with those affected but please, for the love of landrovers the world over, don't become them despite them..... the "free" hand up here and there is what makes this site great, don't let the one analhole wreck it for everyone..... |
