Yes agree in AU only major cities, but lots of international birds-eye stuff to view. Oh well, I found it interesting

Yes the "bird's eye" has a better view of important places (Sorry Ron and Shonk) than google but I must agree google is far easier to navigate.

That NearMaps site is good enough to see if there are gates or trees down across tracks and snags on creek crossings
