strange sighting.......

i saw something strange today and i just had to tell someone.......

i was driving through engadine today......and i saw an old land cruiser.....with some sort of strange tub.......
it almost looked like it was a boat.......or part of a blood box......and right in the centre of it all......

right in the middle of the back of it.........was a land rover badge.......

i was very confused.......the truck looked like it was purpose built......a long time ago.....
it was well set up for country or bush or some sort of work......

it looked like a genuine bush car..........

thats all.....just wanted to share.......

and no......i didnt take any pics........only mental ones......sorry.....

sounds like that old bloke who shared Baz's fire at Cooma, did it look like a very beat up 40 series front with a Land Rover special vehicle sign on the back?

yep.......
i think it may even have been some type of drab green colour.......

it looked like a beat up 40 series.....but what i saw just looked old......not battered or damaged.........

and i think the tub may have been made out of timber.......

Yep that's the one from Cooma, it's a FJ55 series base, runs on vegie oil.

The back is a camper body, at Cooma he told us a story about going to the Cape and back on $39

Aparently he used to race Land Rovers with Thomas's (TJS-70Y) Father.

Baz.
