    POI for Land Rover service

    Gday iam doing a POI file for Land Rover Service & Repair agents Australia wide, i have put in all the LR dealers and a few service/repairers from Brisbane to Gympie, if anyone would like to help me out it would be great, if you could post company name, address and phone number please. When iam finnished i will post the file in the files section, iam currantly doing it in the TomTom but there are some converters around to convert for other navigators.

    This is by far the best converter that I have seen, it's free, and converts between the largest number of formats that I have yet found:

    Thanks Kiren i have been using that one aswell as TYRE tyre.tk , TYRE is a bit limited for converting but very good for creating or extending POI files using google earth

    Ok i have uploaded the file to the file section Links and Downloads Manager - General Land Rover Related - Australian Land Rover Owners i have put in all the ones i know off or could find and also the ones Ron gave me. I uploaded a zip file and within it is 2 BMP startup screens and the LR service & repair for TomTom and the other should be for Navman ?? dont own one so cant test it.

    There is an independent LR service place in Launceston, too.

    I'll get the info and let you know (unless Phoenix knows him).

    Kaos has raised a good point in the thread Waypoints for Land Rover specialist that are not a Dealership that your POI file doesn't include the addresses of repairers.

    For those who don't use GPS in their cars (on a regular basis), would it be possible to add the addresses and phone numbers of the workshops?

    Thanks Ron for that info, yes mate i could add then to the POI's. If you remember i asked for people to pass the info on, which you did and a big thanks for your help. If anyone would like to pass the info on via this thread or a PM go for it, send away
