Do you have a "native" GPS program or some sort of tool set application that comes with your Bluetooth GPS ? I'd try installing that and see if it shows a fix. If that works then it means 1) your GPS itself is working and can see satellites and 2) the bluetooth link is working. It may be for some reason Ozi is not reading the data. May be a port setting or config problem within Ozi.

As with anything that has worked but stopped, you need to go back and think "what changed?".

More detailed information needed, error messages etc. As the others said, reboot/switch on off.

Also differentiate between the GPSR not having a GPS signal and not being able to communicate with your laptop. Which is it?

When you've done that also:

- From the 'Moving Map' menu
- click 'Show GPS Fix Data' and
- Show NMEA Input and Output

and let us know what it is.

OK, either the GPSR is not working, or it is not properly connected to the laptop.

Is there another laptop or PDA you can pair the GPSR with? Need to eliminate it as a problem. I am assuming your configuration hasn't changed, nothing added, modified on the laptop.

its a long shot but when mine stopped working it was because the PC connected (via bluetooth) to my phone instead of the GPS receiver !

Turned bluetooth off on my phone and it worked again.

Could be, good idea. Tyreplus, you need to check that your laptop has connected to the GPSR not some other Bluetooth device. I would delete then recreate the connection. The GPSR probably doesn't have any security code on it so something else could pick it up.
