Thanks everyone for the warm welcome. I have a number of series trucks but I have a real soft spot for the series ones. Here are some more shots of mine.

My series ones

The red series one was a ranch truck in Wyoming for many years. I bought it with 14K miles on it and drove it home to oregon. Have been enjoying it since. The original red seems to be very rare outside of fire tenders. Here are two pages of pics from different trips:

The big series one is a mutt with a chev v8,SM420,LT230,101FC front axle and an eaton rear. Good car but does not have the charm of an original.

Ike,

Thanks for the steering wheel cover. Fitted it today. Looks great and feels terrific - well worth the money IMHO. (Especially with our favourable exchange rate.)

Hi Ike,

Good to see you on here.

In case the mods haven't PM'd you, your posts have been deleted by them because they should be in the markets section (there is a wanted section in there).

Welcome Ike!

Is it a 107", looking at the front mudguard (fender) and fully floating rear axle, I'd have guessed it's a 109".

I love the California redwood?
