HI,
Just joined this interesting sight to do some research on a 93 discovery,
or a (disco as i have just learnt) i am thinking of buying. It needs a water
pump fitted before driving as it gets hot after 10 to 15 minutes driving, is their anything i should be aware of.
How difficult is it to replace the water pump on a 3.9 motor.
Can anyone help please.

That 3.9 V8 might need more than a water pump. Could be the viscous cooling fan or, and I hope not, may be head problems. Especially if it has got hot before so get it checked properly before parting with your dollars. Also - do a bit of search on here. Lots of info available. Enjoy.
