At the very least you will need the injector opening pressures reset after that many km.

If you remove and refit yourself, it should cost <$100. New (genuine isuzu/kiki/bosch) injector nozzles (if needed) were ~$50 each when I got mine done.
I had my injectors done (on both vehicles) by diesel australia at slacks ck. |

I am pretty sure my last ones were $280. And that was with me removing and refitting. Wasn't a very professional job either as they left STILSON marks on the injector bodies. Wasn't very happy I can tell you

Maybe you should send them down to Brisbane next time? |

Something I overlooked for many services was the fuel sedimenter (mounted on the chassis in front of the rear drivers side wheel). Mine was full to the top with gunk - must have caught the dreaded "fuel bug". You need to take the bowl off completely, not just let it run out through the small drain plug. Some gunk was also found in that small mesh strainer below the lift pump that JDNSW commented about.
Cleaning these out got rid of a mild flat spot it used to have at high revs. |
