Wading plug for sand driving - perentie

Currently running without a drain plug on the bellhousing but about to do a bit of sand work. Do I need one for sand or will it be ok? I currently don't have one. I may have got the terminology wrong - not an expert. Cheers

I wouldn't worry unless you're planning to be up to the chassis in sandy water, but from memory its a standard thread (12 or 14mm maybe) so just cut down a short bolt and fit it if you're concerned.

Yeah last time I found high range a bit better provided you gave it the beans and that was before the turbo!
