Cool

..........Have you tried a simple web search?, Google revealed thousands of pages and details on the engine!. Among them:

ISUZU 4HF1 Diesel Engine For Vehicle Application - FD Power Co.,Ltd

Yamato Diesel Engines Home

Not a Landy, but.......

Dodge Dakota Diesel Conversion

Even our old mate Dougal has been there......

Other Isuzu B series engines. [Archive] - Cummins 4BT Forums

........initial problems...exhaust on the wrong side!, have heard of a Defender/County in Sydney with one fitted, but no further details....could be BS.

I know there is a huge amount of info on these engines on Google, I spent a couple of hours searching, problem is it is hard to find factual data that matches, see Technical Chatter same post heading as this. there are so many differing entries in Google it's hard to know what's what. Torque figures ranging from 285Nm @1800 to 400Nm @1500 with flat line torque graphs and bell shaped torque graphs. Figured someone on AULRO would have had some experience and info and I was right, check out the other post in Tech Chat, Regards Frank.
