    Provent Install

I have finished the Pro-vent install on my 4BD1T Defender. the unit works brilliantly.
    1. I used a 79 on Falcon/Fairlane heater hoses to connect the unit to the engine breather outlet - the hose has a 22mm bell end reducing to 15mm the 22mm end easily fits over the Pro-Vent inlet.
    2. I used another heater hose (as above) as the breather outlet hose running the hose to the original breather outlet hose clip at the back of the engine in way of the sump.
    3. The oil drain has been hooked up to the drain connection at the rear right hand side of the sump. NOTE the inline non-return line must be used on the
4BD1T because there is a low pressure valve in the rocker cover that opens to release crankcase pressure. If the check valve is not fitted the pressure in the engine will force oil up the oil drane line.
    4. I have mounted the Pro-Vent beside the inlet manifold using fabricated brackets.
