I have not seen it done, but looking at it I can't see a major problem. The radiator shroud will need to be modified to clear the crankshaft pulley and the p/s pump, and possibly the alternator. It would not be very feasible if you had the aircon compressor where mine is, but that is not standard. I don't think the fan blades bending to hit the radiator is likely to be a problem, at least unless you do deep wading, and even then an inch I don't think will be a problem.
I would consider very carefully the new mounts you make for the radiator and intercooler, as these are quite heavy and need to be somewhat protected from vibration.
