397,000 kms, currently being turbocharged + intercooled.

an average of 494000 with 2 rebuilds, 1 not necessary and one due to over heating?

i think thats not to bad. when i think we are talking about basically untouched motors, even compared to a TDI 300 there still the P gasket, vacuum pump leeks and that damed belt.
doint even need to look at the TD5 its not even in the running

Previous owner said it was comming up to 800,000 km. the gearbox had been rebuilt by him.

280000 when I bought it.
Gearbox rebuilt at 240000 by Mal STory
I replaced the injector nozzles at about 300000 - but more as a safety factor - made no difference
Around 380000 now - still going strong, and now has a turbo

448,654 kilometres showing on mine, I've done 30,000 since I purchased it last year. Going really well at the moment too

271 000 kms Had the turbo on for last 70k. According to receipts that came with it the Santana five speed box has been rebuilt twice already

30,000 on a fully rebuilt 4BD1T..........will probably be run in soon.....in about 5 years
