im asuming you are talking about a 3bolt steering box out of a county?
well i swapped my 3bolt out for a 4bolt (needs hose adaptor fittings) and found the easiest way was to disconnect anything that is in the way (hoses etc etc) take the engine mount nut off the drivers side of the engine and jack the engine over to the side which will give you more room to play (just dont lever it all the way off the mounting bolt or it will be hard to get back on) then it is a matter of wriggling the box around and reverse the procedure

no worries glad to help
as for the adaptors there is 2 and they both go into the holes on top of the steering box , the problem was the line that comes from the power steering pump and into one of the holes in the top of the steering box the fitting on the end is just a tad to small same as the one coming from the resivour and into the other hole in the top of the steering box (at first they seem like they are going to fit but at a second attempt they do not ) so since i could not be patient enough to get my old man to machine a set up for me i went out and spent $110 on 2 fittings so i could have them that day Image0348.jpg
