I wouldn't go holding your breath

unless your a malaysian soldier

and remember, the perenties have no air, no power steering, no turbo, drum rears slide windows and mostly rag tops.

Right up some peoples alley, but not if you are after a county.

Do you know something I don't???

County's have rear drums, no turbo, most have no (working) air. A PAS box costs $200, a PAS pump <$500, the sliding door tops are all alloy and quite nifty, but it is easy to switch to a hardtop and county/defender doors.

You sound like you are trying to convince people not to buy so you cjkl;\an have them all to yourself.

Probably a scammer. I have had a few people wanting to 'buy' my car for more than the asking price and pay via paypal. The scam is they then reverse the payment or something.

I saw that one on there. I was wondering how much beach work it has done, looking at the location.

I heard a rumour from someone in the military that the government is not going to sell the Perenties here in Australia - apparently it's all to do with vehicle emissions and the government doing their bit for the environment... Who knows? If they don't sell them here, then they'll be selling them somewhere surely? Even if to an overseas army.

I hope not I'm waiting out for two for the farm. Also looking for an easy bog (Unimog)

I seem to think demand will be higher then suply with these things if we do see them at all.

if thay sell them over seas it will be a job lot. it will not be based on emissions, bad air here or there its the same air

There are a million rumours floating about. Someone on here/remlr even obtained dates when they would be auctioned off.

The emissions argument sounds implausible, as they would fully comply with emissions for year of manufacture.

However they may sell/donate them to a nearby ally (though I hope not).
