Dumb question #6 what to do with the keys when surfing

As we plan our holiday it occurred to me that I do not know what to do with the D3 key when I go for a surf?

I'm not a fan of hiding the key on the car or carrying it on me in a waterproof bag.

The D2 was easy, we got a key cut and locked the car with that. Then we opened the car and quickly found the Land Rover keys in order to deactivate the alarm. Is there a similar solution for the D3?

I use a surf lock ( the large key size ), just lock to wheel, tow bar, tow point etc. Can buy from any surf shop.

    Cheers

They do seem to be more popular than the blank 'swim key' option and a bit more robust than the surf locks, even tho they are a similar price.
